Pursuing Lifelong Passions
Live Free and Guide was created by Brendan Hayes, a lifelong NH resident, angler and hunter. After spending years working in corporate America, Brendan decided to unplug and get back to his roots in the outdoors. Live Free and Guide is dedicated to helping others who find their passion in the woods and waters of New Hampshire.
For the past several years, Brendan and his K9 partner Gus (pictured) have helped dozens of hunters recover their mortally wounded deer and bear as licensed dog trackers in NH. In the winter, Brendan works as a certified Ski and Snowboard Instructor at Mount Sunapee. Live Free and Guide is more than a guide service—we strive to teach, coach and educate so that you leave us as a more confident outdoorsperson.
